10% price increase: Apple raises online store hardware option prices in some regions

According to news on March 24, it is reported that Apple has recently increased the price of Mac optional hardware in Apple online stores in some regions, and the price increase is about 10%.

A few days ago, some users found that when Apple's official website in Canada, Europe, Australia and some Asian regions chose Mac products, the price of some hardware upgrades increased. Specific products covered include MacBook Air / Pro, iMac / iMac Pro.

For example, when choosing the 16-inch MacBook Pro, the price of the original Core i9 processor upgraded from 2.3GHz to 2.4GHz was around 180 pounds (about RMB 1480) around March 16. By March 23, the upgrade price was 200 pounds (about 1647 yuan (USD $235) ). In addition to the processor, upgrade options for hardware, including memory and graphics cards, have increased prices.

At present, the price of the domestic Apple official website has not been adjusted for the time being, and it is unclear whether there will be changes since then. It is speculated that the reason for this price increase is due to the global epidemic of the new crown virus. Earlier, products including iPhone, iPad, MacBook and other products also appeared on Apple's official website.
