2019 Chinese patents authorized Huawei up to top ten also ZTE, OPPO, vivo

On January 20, the China Intellectual Property Data for 2019 released by the State Intellectual Property Office showed the status of patent application and authorization in China over the past year. In 2019, China’s invention patent applications reached 1.401 million. A total of 453,000 invention patents were authorized, of which the domestic invention patent authorization reached 361,000.

In the ranking of invention patent authorizations, Huawei is far ahead with 4,510, ranking first. In addition, ZTE, OPPO, vivo and other companies entered the top ten, of which OPPO ranked third, ZTE eighth, and vivo ninth. The number of invention patents in China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) has reached 13.3 pieces per 10,000 people, and the target task amount in the national “13th Five-Year Plan” has been fulfilled in advance. Geographically, the top three provinces (regions, cities) are: Beijing, Shanghai, and Jiangsu.

It is worth noting that Huawei has a strong reputation in this list. In recent years, Huawei has gained a lot of popularity in the international market and is in a leading position in the 5G industry. Everyone knows that the technology of a technology company is technology. Huawei has been doing a good job in this respect. Huawei’s patent authorization has been the first for two consecutive years. Huawei ’s vice president Lu Yong said in May last year that Huawei ’s annual R & D investment exceeded 10% of its revenue.

In addition, although the number of patents on the list is not as good as Huawei’s, they are also slowly reaching out their tentacles in scientific research and dare to invest in continuous trials. We look forward to the continued efforts of major enterprises in 2020 to write a magnificent chapter for Chinese science and technology.
