AI binocular obstacle avoidance, Roborock T7 Pro brings a new cleaning experience

With the increasing requirements for indoor hygiene, but at the same time being busy with work every day, using sweeping robots to clean the ground at home has become a new habit of contemporary urban youth. However, if the home environment is more complicated, or there are pets, etc., it will interfere with the normal work of the sweeping robot, and obstacle avoidance is required at this time.

At present, the main obstacle avoidance methods of sweeping robots include 3D structured light, ToF, monocular, binocular, and lidar.

Among them, the laser radar uses the method of rotating transmission and reception of the laser beam, combined with the triangulation ranging and ToF calculation, and the recognition accuracy is low. 3D ToF With the help of ToF lens, the image resolution obtained is relatively low. The image resolution of 3D structured light has been improved, but the obstacle avoidance distance is limited. Finally, there are monocular and binocular. The resolution of both is very high, up to 2K. The final result is obtained through AI calculation. Among them, the binocular can also obtain more accurate results through the cooperation of two cameras. Its own performance requirements are relatively high.

In order to meet the performance requirements of binocular obstacle avoidance, the Roborock uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8053 processor. The performance of this chip is the same as Qualcomm Snapdragon 625, and can effectively process the information collected by the machine. The two cameras used to capture images also have a 500W pixel 120° wide-angle shooting capability, which fully meets the needs of 2K image capture. With components such as infrared fill light and rechargeable sensors, it can work normally even in very dark corners.

These two cameras can also be used as mobile cameras. With image transmission and remote control functions, users can observe the whole house at any time even if they are not at home, and can go deep into areas that are normally invisible, such as bed bottoms and table corners. If you have pets at home, you can also check whether they are naughty while you are not at home, and you can even interact with them.

This series comes standard with the RR mason™ 7.0 algorithm system, which can dispatch many sensors on the fuselage to sense and construct a house map, so that the sweeping robot can achieve no random collisions and no missing sweeps when working, and cleaning is more accurate and time-saving. It also supports operations such as virtual wall, selection area cleaning and voice commands. Whenever you want to scan, you can send commands on the mobile APP or smart speakers. This is also a major feature of smart homes, with novel functions and convenient and fast.

As a sweeping robot, cleaning is the most important task of T7 Pro. It has a super suction of 2500Pa, which is 25% higher than T6, and can effectively remove dust in the gap. When it touches the carpet, the machine will automatically pressurize to Max mode for deep cleaning. With the dynamic speed-adjusting side brush that cleans corners and edges, the Roborock T7 Pro can clean the whole house more deeply and effectively.

At the same time, the Roborock T7 Pro also has a 297ml drawer-type large water tank, with a stable electronically controlled water spray, which can achieve a small water volume of 250m² at a time. Users can also set different scenes such as the bedroom, living room, and kitchen according to their own needs.

With binocular AI recognition and 2500Pa super suction, the Roborock T7 Pro will bring you a completely different cleaning experience.
