ASUS launches two Lingyao notebooks with Ryzen 5000U processor

Recently, foreign media NoteBookCheck platform reported that ASUS launched a new Lingyao notebook at CES 2021, including Lingyao 13 OLED and Lingyao 14 products. Both are equipped with AMD’s latest Ryzen 5000U series processors, and the price and listing information of the products have not yet been announced.

According to reports, the Lingyao 13 OLED model is ZenBook 13 OLED UM325, equipped with a 13.3-inch OLED screen, 1080P resolution, covering 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and has passed VESA DisplayHDR True Black certification. In terms of configuration, AMD R5 5500U and R7 5800U processors are optional, equipped with 16GB of memory and 1TB of solid state.

ASUS Lingyao 14 model is ZenBook 14 UM425, equipped with a 14-inch FHD display. The processor provides two models of R5 5500U and R7 5700U. It is also equipped with 16GB LPDDR4X-4266 dual-channel high-frequency memory and a 1TB NVMe solid state drive.

The body design is basically the same as the previous generation, but it does not seem to be equipped with a Thunderbolt 4 or USB 4.0 interface. It only provides a USB 3.2 Gen2 interface with a bandwidth of 10Gbps. At the same time, its body thickness is only 14.4mm and weighs about 1.2kg, which is quite light and portable.
