From July 1st, Hainan Province will implement National VI emission standards for heavy-duty diesel vehicles

According to the official micro-message of Nanhai.com, the Hainan Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment, the Provincial Department of Commerce, and the Provincial Department of Public Security recently jointly issued the "Notice on the Implementation of the National Phase VI Motor Vehicle Emission Standards for Heavy Diesel Vehicles" (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice") .

The "Notice" requires that from July 1st, all heavy-duty diesel vehicles produced, imported, sold and registered in the province should meet the requirements of the sixth phase of the national motor vehicle emission standards for heavy-duty diesel vehicles.

According to reports, heavy-duty diesel vehicles refer to the M2, M3, N1, N2, and N3 types of compression-ignition engines specified in the "Limits and Measurement Methods for Pollutant Emissions from Heavy Diesel Vehicles (China Phase 6)" (GB17691-2018). And M1 vehicles with a total mass greater than 3500kg.

The "Notice" points out that heavy diesel vehicles that have been registered with the Provincial Department of Commerce before June 20, 2021 (including) the National Phase V Emission Standard, and have been sold and issued for motor vehicle sales before June 30, 2021 (inclusive) For heavy-duty diesel vehicles with unified invoices under the National Phase V Emission Standards, registration can be made in accordance with the regulations before (inclusive) December 31, 2021, and will not be processed after the deadline.

At the same time, heavy-duty diesel vehicles that have reached the sixth stage of the national emission standards can be inquired on the Ministry of Ecology and Environment's Motor Vehicle Environmental Information Disclosure Platform (www.vecc-mep.org.cn).
