On June 24, well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo issued a post stating that Apple is expected to launch iPhone SE supporting 5G networks in 2022. In addition, the iPhone 14 to be released in 2022 will be equipped with an under-screen fingerprint module, and the large-screen version will have a lower starting price.
According to Guo Mingchi, the appearance of the new iPhone SE is exactly the same as that of the iPhone SE (second generation) launched in the first half of 2020. The upgrade lies in the processor and support for 5G networks.
Guo Mingchi also stated that the new iPhone SE will be the “cheapest 5G iPhone” in response to Apple users’ need for replacement under the trend of 5G networks.

Regarding the analysis of the iPhone 14 that will be launched in 2022, Guo Mingchi predicts that Apple will launch two high-end iPhones (6.1 inches and 6.7 inches) and two low-end iPhones (6.1 inches and 6.7 inches) in 2022, which also means Apple will not launch a new mini model next year.
In addition, the iPhone 14 may also be equipped with under-screen Touch ID technology, and the wide-angle camera will also be upgraded to 48 million pixels. In terms of price, the 2022 model of large-size (6.7-inch) iPhone will also usher in the lowest price ever, which is predicted to be less than US$900 (approximately RMB 5825).
