Hybrid version of Civic? 2020 Honda INSIGHT official map release: fuel-saving king

INSIGHT is a compact sedan owned by Honda. Unfortunately, this model is only sold in overseas markets. Because the car looks very similar to the Civic, and is also equipped with a hybrid system, it is also called "hybrid version of the Civic", "fuel-saving king" and so on.

A few days ago, Honda officially released the official map of the 2020 INSIGHT models. The new car was mainly adjusted for configuration. There are 3 models in the US market with a price range of $ 22,900-28,800 (equivalent to RMB 162,600-45,400).

The front face of the new car is also the Honda family's flying wing type grille. The headlights use matrix LED light sources and have LED daytime running lights. The sedan hatchback design looks a bit like the new Civic and looks better than the Civic.

In terms of configuration, the 2020 INSIGHT brand new standard comes with Honda Sensing active safety system, one-button start and LED headlights. Meanwhile, higher EX and Touring models have added blind spot monitoring and traffic condition detection systems.

It is also worth mentioning that Honda INSIGHT has a safety rating of Top Safety Pick + in IIHS.

In terms of power, the new Honda INSIGHT still contains Honda's third-generation (IMA) hybrid power system, which is composed of a 1.5-liter Atkinson cycle engine + dual motors + lithium-ion battery. The maximum power of the system is 152 horsepower and the peak torque is 267 N · m.

It is said that its fuel consumption per 100 kilometers is only 4.24L, which is lower than the cash on sale (5.3L / 100km).
