Apple topped the list with 90.1 million units, followed by Samsung, which shipped 73.9 million units. In the back, Xiaomi, OPPO, and Huawei are ranked three to five.
Starting from the fourth quarter of last year, the global mobile phone market began to pick up, and from the data point of view, the fourth quarter of last year also increased by 4.3% compared with 2019. Among them, Apple, which released new products in September, rose rapidly, with a market share of 23.4%. Moreover, according to Apple’s financial report, the shipments of various products have increased in the past quarter, and revenue has also set a record.
From the data of the whole year, Samsung is still the number one shipment, followed by Apple, Huawei, Xiaomi and vivo.
In the current situation of the mobile phone market, with Samsung and Apple as the first echelon, shipments are far ahead. Domestic mobile phone manufacturers have formed a second echelon. With Huawei’s market share declining significantly, Xiaomi, OPPO, and vivo have become the main force.
In the past year, Xiaomi’s performance in the domestic and overseas markets was very impressive, especially in the European and Southeast Asian markets, which also made Xiaomi the third-largest brand in global shipments in the fourth quarter.
