Included in the list of antique products, Apple's MacBook was almost abandoned by the official

On the page updated on June 30, Apple has included the 12-inch Macbook released in 2015 as an “antique” product.

“Antique” products refer to products that have been discontinued by Apple for 5 to 7 years, while “obsolete” products refer to products that have been discontinued for more than 7 years. ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Products included in the “outdated” list cannot accept hardware services provided by Apple technicians or authorized service providers.

At the beginning of its launch, the 12-inch MacBook featured a lighter and thinner product design and built-in Intel Core M processor. In addition, this product also uses a fanless design, with a thickness of only 1.31cm and a weight of less than 1kg.

MacBook still uses an all-metal case, and the whole machine only has two interfaces: microphone/headphone jack and Type-C.

Apple updated the 12-inch version of the MacBook in 2016 and 2017, but eventually abandoned the product line in 2019 and instead launched a new MacBook Air with a similar design and also equipped with a retina screen.
