NEDC battery life 400KM Lexus's first electric car UX 300e launched: 362,000

As the first pure electric vehicle model of Lexus, the UX 300e was launched at the Guangzhou Auto Show last year.

A few days ago, the Lexus UX 300e was officially launched through online live broadcast. The car launched two models at a price of 362,000 yuan (USD $51714) and 385,000 yuan (USD $55000) respectively. The maximum power is 150kW (204Ps), and the NEDC cruising range is 400km.

Compared with other domestic brands of pure electric models, the performance parameters of Lexus UX 300e are not outstanding, but Toyota’s advantages are reliable quality and vehicle safety.

To this end, the official provides 6 years or 150,000 kilometers of free vehicle warranty and maintenance services for the new car, and Sandian System provides 8 years or 200,000 kilometers of free warranty service.

The UX 300e is Lexus’ first pure-electric production model, based on the Lexus UX crossover. In terms of appearance, the UX 300e adopts the same design as the Lexus UX. It is equipped with the Lexus iconic spindle-shaped grille, which is highly recognizable.

In the interior part, the layout of the new car and the hybrid UX are relatively close. They all use an environmentally friendly cockpit, equipped with a 7-inch LCD screen, a suspended center control screen, and a Remote Touch touchpad. It has a full sense of technology.

In addition, the car is also equipped with the digital key used by Lexus for the first time in China. When the owner remotely authorizes others to use the vehicle, the other party can enter and start the vehicle through the smartphone to share the driving in real time.

In terms of power, the Lexus UX 300e is equipped with a front motor, with a maximum power of 204 horsepower and a peak torque of 300 Nm. Equipped with a 54.3kWh lithium battery pack with fast charging function, NEDC has a comprehensive cruising range of 400km.

In terms of battery safety, Toyota uses the development experience of hybrid vehicles to set the battery high-voltage circuit in the center of the battery pack, and surrounds the interior with a cold air pipe to form a buffer to protect the battery cells and high-voltage circuit.

At the same time, in order to slow down the decay of battery capacity, Toyota maintains the charging capacity within a reasonable range, and the battery pack internal temperature control and other technologies to suppress battery aging.
