New 48V micro-hybrid system new Volvo S90 appeared in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: renamed as B4 / B5

As Volvo’s domestic flagship sedan, the S90 is about to usher in a mid-term facelift.

Just recently, we obtained a group of new Volvo Asia Pacific S90 models from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. For the first time, the new car has joined the 48V micro-hybrid system, and the low / high power version models correspond to B4 / B5 (previously T4 / T5).

In terms of appearance, the new car has been adjusted for the front surround shape like the previously exposed overseas version of the new S90 official. The front fog lights, front surround trim and air intake, and rear spoiler shape have been redesigned to look like More refined.

In addition, the new car has been updated for Viking’s axe tail light design, using full LED light sources and flowing turn signals. The length, width and height are respectively 5090/1879 / 1450mm, and the wheelbase is 3061mm.

At present, the information on the interior of the new car is still relatively limited. With reference to the previously released overseas official map of the new car, the new S90 will continue the cold and simple Nordic style and is expected to be replaced with a beautiful crystal electronic gear lever.

In terms of power, the 2.0T gasoline engine + 48V light mixing system can save about 15% of fuel consumption. The maximum power of the new Volvo S90 B4 and B5 models are 218 horsepower and 277 horsepower, respectively. The comprehensive fuel consumption of the two vehicles per 100 kilometers is 6.6 liters.
