On January 30th, recently, Manu Kumar Jain, Xiaomi ’s global vice president and the head of Xiaomi ’s India business, officially announced on Twitter that the POCO brand was independent. Soon after, POCO India also officially stated that the first new machine POCO X2 after POCO independence will officially debut in India on February 4, 2020. It is understood that the POCO X2 will use a high refresh rate of 120Hz, and the camera will use the Sony IMX 686 sensor as the main camera.
It is reported that POCO X2 is expected to be the successor of the previously launched POCO Phone F1, but as to whether it will support 5G functions, it is currently uncertain.
According to previously exposed news, POCO X2 uses a 120Hz high screen refresh rate. This configuration is currently rare in the mainstream market, and the Redmi K30 series supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The camera uses a rear four-camera solution, with the Sony IMX686 64-megapixel sensor as the main camera. At the same time, POCO X2 will be equipped with a 4500mAh battery and support 27W fast charging.
Users familiar with Xiaomi should understand that POCO is a sub-series of Xiaomi and mainly promotes international markets such as India and Southeast Asia. The previous POCOPHONE F1 has received a lot of attention due to its extreme cost performance. The POCO X2 launched after this independence should still focus on markets such as India and continue to maintain a cost-effective route.
