On July 2nd, according to the Securities Times, at the SAIC Group's shareholders meeting, investors asked whether SAIC would consider cooperation with third-party companies such as Huawei in terms of autonomous driving. In this regard, Chen Hong, chairman of SAIC, said that it is unacceptable for SAIC to cooperate with third-party companies such as Huawei for autonomous driving.

SAIC Chairman Chen Hong also explained, “This is like a company providing us with an overall solution. In this way, it becomes the soul, and SAIC becomes the body. For such a result, SAIC is unacceptable. , We must take the soul in our own hands."

In response to this matter, Huawei’s official response stated that there are multiple modes of cooperation between Huawei and car companies: The Huawei Inside mode is the joint definition and joint development of smart cars by Huawei and car companies, equipped with Huawei’s full-stack smart car solutions. The cooperation between GAC and GAC adopts this model.

At the same time, there is also a cooperation model of tier1 and tier2. At present, we are more adopting this model to provide parts and solutions to car companies. For example, SAIC’s general meeting of shareholders also mentioned that our two sides have a lot of cooperation in 5G and interconnection ecology.
