In August 2019, Samsung launched the Wi-Fi and 4G versions of the Galaxy Tab S6. On January 10th, the 5G version of the tablet was shot. Moreover, a leaked manual photo shows that the new 5G-capable tablet and Tab S6 have exactly the same appearance and interior, only adding a Snapdragon X50 modem.
It is understood that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 is powered by the Snapdragon 955 chipset. It has two memory options, one is the 6 / 128GB version and the other is the 8 / 256GB version, but the latter is limited to appear in specific markets. The back of the fuselage contains dual cameras, one is a 13-megapixel ordinary camera, and the other is a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.
The Tab S6 5G has almost the same specifications as the Tab S6. A picture of the Tab S6 5G shows that the new tablet has a keyboard and stylus and runs on OneUI 1.0 under Android 9.
Samsung is expected to release the Galaxy Tab S6 5G in the first quarter of 2020, which will be the world's first 5G tablet. Due to Samsung's strong sales in the local market and the rapid deployment of 5G, it is expected that the new Tab S6 5G will first be put on the Korean market and then enter the US and European markets.
