Sony Xperia Compact series restart, new machine or Snapdragon 775G chip

When it comes to small screen flagships, in addition to Apple’s iPhone SE and iPhone 12 Mini, there is a high probability that many students will also think of Sony’s Compact series. However, since the Xperia XZ2 Compact, Sony has never launched a new Compact series.

According to the latest news, the Sony Compact series is coming back. Recently, OnLeaks brought a set of renderings of the new Sony Xperia Compact. According to the renderings, the body of the new machine is very compact, with a body size of approximately 140×68.9×8.9mm, which looks like it can be held with one hand.

The front is equipped with a straight screen with a water drop screen design, and the screen size is about 5.5 inches. The surrounding frame is very rounded and is expected to bring a good grip. The side should be the side power button of Sony’s classic integrated fingerprint recognition module, and the overall body is relatively thin and light.

As for the configuration, it is reported that Sony Xperia Compact or Snapdragon 775G chip built with 6nm process is available in standard version and premium models.

From the configuration point of view, the positioning of Sony’s new Xperia Compact is not high. For some users who like small-screen mobile phones, it may be a good choice other than Apple. I hope the price will not be too high.
