It is embarrassing to say that gasoline-electric hybrid models represented by Japanese hybrids have a comprehensive fuel consumption level that is much lower than conventional plug-in hybrid models.
However, due to the small battery capacity of the vehicle, it cannot be regarded as a new energy vehicle and cannot be hung on the green card. It is not friendly enough for consumers who just need new energy vehicles.
Now, in order to adapt to the domestic market demand, Honda, like Toyota, has also brought the e+ model to its star model CR-V.
Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the 11th batch of 2020 "Recommended Models Catalog for the Promotion and Application of New Energy Vehicles", and the catalog of Dongfeng Honda CR-V Rui·Hybrid e+ (plug-in hybrid version) models appeared.
The biggest highlight of the new car is a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine and an electric motor. The power battery is a ternary lithium battery, the cruising range in NEDC operating mode is 85km in pure electric mode, and the fuel consumption per 100 km in the B state is 4.7L.
In terms of appearance, the new car basically continued the fuel-based vehicle styling, but the front face of the vehicle has also changed, consisting of three chrome-plated trim strips.
At the same time, the vehicle’s logo uses a blue design to highlight its identity as a new energy vehicle. The vehicle refueling port and charging port are arranged on both sides of the rear fender of the vehicle.
In terms of body size, the new car has undergone a certain increase. The dimensions of length, width and height are 4694/1861/1679mm, and the wheelbase is 2660mm. Compared with the fuel version, the Sharp Hybrid e+ exceeds the size of the fuel version in both length and width, and the wheelbase is 1mm shorter.
In terms of power, the CR-V Rui·Hybrid e+ is equipped with Honda’s unique plug-in hybrid system, which consists of a 2.0L engine and electric motor.
The maximum power of the engine is 107kW and the maximum torque is 175N·m. The maximum power of the motor is 135kW and the maximum torque is 315N·m. The power battery is a ternary lithium material with a total capacity of 16kWh and a battery system mass of 284kg.
Moreover, it is worth mentioning that ordinary fuel vehicles in urban traffic jams, due to frequent start, the vehicle's fuel consumption is higher.
However, hybrid vehicles can use electric motors to drive vehicles in traffic jams, which are more suitable for urban congested road conditions. Therefore, the more traffic jams, the more obvious the fuel-saving advantage of the vehicle.
'Moreover, the comprehensive fuel consumption per 100 kilometers of the vehicle in the B state is about 4.6L, which has obvious fuel consumption advantages compared with the same-level SUV.
As for the selling price, the CR-V hybrid models currently on sale are priced between RMB 209,800 and 254,800. With the arrival of the hybrid e+ version, its price may be around 250,000 yuan (USD $35714) . Of course, the above is only a guess, and the real price needs to be announced by the manufacturer.
