K-Car is the first of its kind in Japan. The representative of this model is Subaru 360, a four-seater light automatic model with low prices, fuel economy and durability. The price is 5 months salary for college graduates. In addition to light autos, sports cars, convertibles, light pickups, minivans, etc. can be made into K-Car standards. In 2018, 1.92 million of the 5.27 million vehicles sold throughout Japan were K-Cars.

Wuling said to Future Car Daily that it is distinguished from Baojun E100 and E200 models. Wuling New Energy electric vehicles use a four-seater design with a square and overall shape, small and practical, and easy to start and stop. "Affected by the epidemic, people ’s demand for private space and safe travel has surged. This car owner is practical and convenient," Wuling said.

Wuling's brother brand Baojun has achieved good response in the new energy mini electric vehicle market. In addition to the two E100 and E200, the declaration chart of the new Baojun E300 was also disclosed. The E300 is more conceptual and is equipped with HUAWEI HiCar smart interconnection solution. According to the plan, Xinbaojun will also launch a four-seat version of the mini electric vehicle E300P in the future.

According to the declaration information released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, this new energy electric vehicle under Wuling is equipped with a maximum power of 20KW motor, and provides two types of batteries, 13.82kWh and 9.2kWh. Unlike the new Baojun E300 equipped with a motor produced by Zhejiang Founder Motor Co., Ltd., the first new energy electric vehicle under the Wuling brand uses a motor produced by Ningbo Shuanglin Liuzhou Company. If you refer to models of the same class, the battery life is expected to be about 200Km, which is suitable for short-distance mobility scenarios.

Since its establishment in 1985, Wuling Motors has used its price-performance advantages to create a number of magic cars. Beginning at the end of last year, Wuling has also begun to lay out the new energy vehicle field. The pure electric version of the two major car series-Wuling Hongguang and Wuling Rongguang have been disclosed in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Wuling told the Future Auto Daily that in addition to this four-seater mini electric vehicle, the company is also planning new energy commercial vehicle models.
